Before joining Qube Global Software my previous experience was mainly in the banking sector. As part of my training with Lloyds TSB Bank plc., I was seconded to work with the training department, to help design and deliver a customer services training programme to all of the Bank’s staff.
It was this insight into training, coupled with my involvement in my own staff’s personal development which prompted me to apply for the position of Trainer with Qube Global Software.
I can honestly say it was a great decision. My main responsibilities are to design, deliver and review training courses to meet the objectives of our customers, in order that they gain commercial benefit from using our system. At times, this may be working as part of an implementation team, with new customers helping them to note their business objectives for purchasing the software. At other times I may be working on client specific projects with our more established customers. Working with so many different people means that no two days are ever the same, and that variety suits me.
Qube Global Software has supported me with my wish to continue my personal development; sponsoring me to complete the Certificate in Training Practice and most recently, the CIPD Level 5 Intermediate Certificate in Human Resource Development. This has been proven extremely beneficial in better understanding our customers’ need to adequately support their staff.
For me, it is the complete support from the Company that shows me I made the right decision to join Qube Global Software; the door is always open, meaning you can talk to the right people to affect change and that’s such a great place to work
