Transaction Management

This module allows an organisation to establish, monitor and control activities centred around Real Estate transactions, for example a lease termination, a lease renewal, or a property acquisition. It allows for the creation of activity templates, listing which tasks should be carried out, by whom, in what sequence, whilst tracking task completion with associated target dates and duration. These tasks can be monitored for performance and escalated to senior management if non-compliance is threatened.

Transactions can be automatically generated by allowing a Lease Termination process to be commenced in advance of the lease expiry date. For example, transactions can include external parties as well as your own staff, enabling control of the entire business process to be achieved.

Features include:

  • Allows users to build their own business processes to be controlled
    via Transaction Management. Customers define the individual tasks
    that make up a transaction to reflect their own activities required to
    complete the transaction
  • If a task fails to complete within its duration, it can be escalated so that
    management can become aware of the delay
  • Tasks are assigned to individuals or groups of users. Users can access
    their own activity queues, identifying the activities they have to complete
    and thus take ownership of transactions
  • Integration of Horizon Alerter module to support task assignment,
    escalation, and monitoring
  • As tasks are completed or forecast end dates changed, the overall
    transaction forecast is updated based on the critical path through the
    tasks
  • Transactions can also be embedded into other transactions, so common
    core tasks don’t need to be re-entered
