Maintenance and repairs
  • Despatch planned and maintenance jobs to mobile engineers via PDA

  • New work orders can be created if problems are encountered across the estate

Condition surveys*
  • Download details of locations or assets to be surveyed
  • Log details of current condition, work required and a cost estimate for any remedial work
  • Use survey data to create a complete repair or refurbishment plan for the location or asset

Asset surveys and tracking*
  • Create a new asset register or add new assets to an existing asset register
  • Barcoding helps make asset identification quick and simple
  • If assets are found to have moved, record the changes and the asset will automatically be 'relocated' within Planet

Audits and inspections*
  • Create and store checklists for regular routine inspections
  • Develop a walk round 'route list' of all locations to be inspected
  • Upon arrival at each location, the PDA will display the relevant checklist so the user can enter the results
