Qube Global Software heads up first SNAP Technology session at CoreNet Las Vegas Summit
West Chester, PA, October 20, 2009 – Qube Global Software worked with the CoreNet educational team to present its first SNAP technology session at the Fall Las Vegas Summit. Nearly 100 senior real estate executives, service providers and consultants attended, sharing their interests in cutting edge, innovative ideas and updates.
The session surpassed its goal to relay quality information in a condensed format so that every participant walked away with usable knowledge. Each session was a snappy, 30 minute format. With DEGW’s Melissa Marsh serving as moderator, CEO John Cuppello and Senior Vice President Matthew Sheldrick of Qube Global Software presented a session that focused on what you need to know about “cloud computing, Web 2.0 and business intelligence tools".
To better understand new technologies and how they make positive changes to the way we work and make decisions, Cuppello and Sheldrick provided a concise insight into how to successfully transform your interaction with technology into valuable information.
IT spending has changed, and as Cuppello stated, “the recovery will come and with it will be a new sense of renewal, along with a wave that focuses more on content rather than on infrastructure.” Web 2.0 and Cloud Computing are changing the way technology is delivered to the end user. With cloud computing, we will be able to turn technology on as needed, and off when we don’t. BI tools are rapidly changing the corporate real estate world. “We are seeing a consistent business requirement with users wanting to see all the key information that tells them how their business is running, has run and will run, all in one place,” Sheldrick explained.
The expectations end users have of technology have changed. Because of this, Sheldrick reminds us to “get everyone involved in the experience when selecting software...try it, play with it, push its limits, but make sure it works the way you want it to.”
