Contracts and Job Billing

If you provide FM or maintenance contracting services on a commercial basis or simply wish to pass on the cost of such services to another department within your organisation, then Planet FM Enterprise delivers all the functionality you need – from initial quotation or work request right through to final invoice production and payment tracking.

Contract Information

You may have a single internal ‘customer’ or provide services to several organisations – there is no limit to the number of customer contracts you can operate within the system. For each customer you can set rules to determine how jobs and services should be charged to customers including items such as labour rates, travel time, materials and mileage.

  • Locations and assets covered by the contract
  • Schedule of rates for standard tasks
  • Service level targets to be applied
  • Fees to be charged for comprehensive contracts
  • Determine mark-up factor for each element
  • Charge on a job-by-job basis or periodically

Job Billing

Planet FM Enterprise has a fully customisable invoicing facility. Jobs can be charged for using a combination of time and materials (including travel time and mileage), fixed price or schedule of rates. Invoice and credit note transactions can all be exported to an external accounts system.

Quotations

Quotations for a package of work can be produced based upon an estimate for labour, contracted services and supplies required. The final cost will be calculated using charge rules which may include mark-ups, labour rates, etc. Quotations can be stored within Planet FM Enterprise until required at a later date.
