Stock Control
The Stores module helps you to keep track of materials ranging from maintenance spares to office stationery supplies. It provides instant access to stock levels, previous stock issues, preferred suppliers and purchase price history. Most importantly, you can maintain accurate stock levels and ensure that cost information is up-to-date at all times.
The Stores module minimises delays in repairing or replacing plant or
equipment by ensuring that the right items are in the right place at the right
time. You can set up any number of different stores within Planet, each with its
own stock register. Minimum stock levels can be defined for each store so that
the system will automatically warn you when stock needs replenishing.
- Issue stock to work orders or cost centre codes
- Return unused items to stoc
- Manage van stocks within Planet
- Move stock from one store to another with inter-store transfers
- Store unlimited number of suppliers for each stock item
- Full audit trail maintained for each item – showing issues, transfers, etc
