BOMA visits National Harbor, Maryland | June 27, 2016

BOMA International Conference & Expo was most recently named as one of the fastest growing trade shows by Trade Show Executive.  This year proved no exception, with the conference hosting thousands of owners, investors and developers and next-generation talent interested in stimulating keynote sessions, beneficial networking opportunities and the latest information on trends, technology and services.

Qube Global Software was a featured exhibitor in the Technology Pavilion, one of the new features BOMA developed to encourage attendees to discover the latest in commercial real estate technology. Director of Marketing Sharon Miller Trackman attended with Sales Executive Kevin Anderson as representatives of the company.  With BOMA encouraging its members to ‘maximize effectiveness and optimize performance’, we featured our specialty technology designed solely for the commercial real estate industry.  Qube Global Software has a multitude of solutions with the capability and functionality you need to enhance the performance of your commercial assets.

BOMA’s annual conference featured more than 40 educational sessions that filled six different tracks on a range of topics relevant to the success of every building and office professional.  From leveraging technology to optimizing commercial building performance, mitigating risk to reducing energy usage, participating in BOMA once again proved an invaluable experience.

Efforts at BOMA have a ‘sweet’ finish

With less than 20 minutes to go, the BOMA trade show floor was getting quiet.  Most attendees were working their way to BOMA Central for the closing day’s prize drawings.  Fitbits and Kindles, free office assessments and full forum attendance were hot items. But as has become a habit with Qube Global Software’s marketing team attending domestic exhibitions and trade shows, we think outside the box before breaking down our booth.  This event was no exception.  Lead by Sharon Miller Trackman, Director of Marketing for the Americas, and her new friend Shane Lantz, Vertical Market Leader with Daikin Applied, they walked the trade show floor collecting unused wrapped candy for donation. Nearly 40 pounds of candy was delivered to ‘Bridges to Independence’,  a private nonprofit organization located in Northern Virginia.   Better known in the community as b2i, the organization was founded in 1985, and continues their efforts as a leading provider of services for homeless women and their families, and those at risk of harm.

“It takes so little to make someone else have a better day,” stated Miller Trackman.  “This organization truly appreciates a volunteers’ time and talent, Shane and I made a real difference.”
