Continued success with ACHIEVEability | November 4, 2011

In our continued efforts to support philanthropy and community service, US team members from Qube Global Software lead an energetic group of nearly 20 volunteers, participating in the 18th Annual Philadelphia Cares Day.  Once again, our chosen benefactor was ACHIEVEability, a not for profit organization rehabilitating homes located in west Philadelphia.  Facility managers, service providers and high school students painted side by side with ACHIEVEability staff and family, working diligently to prepare a 3 bedroom home for immediate occupancy by a well deserving family returning to the working community after shelter living.

“We continue to support ACHEIVEability because it reaffirms empowerment of family and education to improve one’s situation,” stated Sharon G. Miller, US Marketing Manager.  “It feels good, being a catalyst of positive change in our own backyard.  We hope our continued efforts to work with ACHIEVEability will encourage more facility managers and their families to join us in the spring for 2012’s World FM Day.”

About ACHIEVEability:  ACHIEVEability, based in Philadelphia, is an agency that permanently breaks the cycle of poverty for low-income, single-parent and homeless families. ACHIEVEability provides housing and supportive services so parents can pursue higher education and become self-sufficient. Everything we do promotes accountability for our families. This year, ACHIEVEability is celebrating 30 years of helping families achieve self-sufficiency.
