IAMC co-locates with SIOR for its first International Forum | June 24, 2016
IAMC (Industrial Asset Management Council) held its first international forum June 21 and 22 in London, England at the Grosvenor Square Marriott. Co-located with SIOR’s (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors) first World European Conference on June 23 and 24, attendees represented the Americas, Canada, countries throughout the European continent, and the United Kingdom.
More than 100 top level industrial real estate executives, regional economic developers and brokerage professionals gathered for an intimate, in-depth forum focusing on issues as they related to conducting industrial real estate without borders. Discussions ranged from benchmarking within the economic and geopolitical climate, to the anticipated challenges facing the European manufacturing markets.
June 23 was a day of shared content between the organizations, featuring an interesting debate on the pending BREXIT vote. Needless to say, most in attendance were not expecting the ‘leave the union’ outcome announced early the next morning.
Qube Global Software was as a proud platinum sponsor of this inaugural event. Sharon Miller Trackman served on the event committee, and for the past year as co-Chair of IAMC’s International Advisory Council. “Seeing years of hard work come to fruition in the culmination of a successful event was so gratifying. My thanks to co-Chair Colleen Caravati, Tate Godfrey and the Conway team, and to prior co-Chairs Kevin Dollhopf and Mike Wolff for their never-ending support of our efforts.”
The 2016 North American CoreNet Global Summit took place at the Philadelphia Convention Center from October 16 through 19.
Qube Global Software once again participated in IFMA’s World Workplace Expo on October 5 through 7 in San Diego, California. Team members Sharon Miller Trackman and Kevin Anderson provided expert advice to show attendees as it relates to agile workspace and ROI software solutions.
