ICSC Vegas rolls in high numbers | May 26, 2016
The retail industry’s most influential players gathered May 22 through May 25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center for ICSC’s RECon Vegas 2016. Owners and developers of retail venues from around the globe attended RECon’s convention to network, make deals, and learn about the latest industry products and services that are critical to their business success. As they say at ICSC ‘if you’re looking to meet retailers to discuss leases, interact with the latest industry products and services, attend educational sessions or find your next deal’ this was the conference to end all retail conferences.
As a leader in the retail industry, ICSC’s RECon attracted over 36,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors, including internationally recognized brands like Walmart Stores, Inc., Hilton Worldwide, Acadia Realty Trust and CBRE. Universities and educators, along with ‘next gen’ retail experts, walked the massive exhibit halls in search of the next best thing.
Qube Global Software had previously exhibited at the Vegas show, but had remained focused on exhibiting at the more regional events in the last few years. “This years’ programming was intriguing, with sessions ranging from talent workshops and sustainability programs to the latest trends and expectations for the future of retail,” stated Sharon Miller Trackman, Director of Marketing for the Americas. “We definitely took full advantage of what this show has to offer, walking every aisle of the convention center during the 2 days of deal making.”
The 2016 North American CoreNet Global Summit took place at the Philadelphia Convention Center from October 16 through 19.
Qube Global Software once again participated in IFMA’s World Workplace Expo on October 5 through 7 in San Diego, California. Team members Sharon Miller Trackman and Kevin Anderson provided expert advice to show attendees as it relates to agile workspace and ROI software solutions.
