Space management remains an ongoing topic of discussion for facility managers. And with technology a main driver behind the Fourth Industrial Revolution, founding partner of Accordant (the system powering Qube Space) Alan Rose spoke on the combined effects of technology and space. Addressing workplace expectations over the next five years, Rose encouraged facility managers to better understand how real estate and workplace solutions can be used for improved decision making as it relates to space utilization.
Attendees visiting the booth were able to visually see how management tools streamline processes via a built-to-scale model office comprised of Lego pieces. This year, the team featured the ‘bubble maker’, an improved tracking system whereby users can better visualize high traffic areas like water coolers and cafeterias in their building that staff might come.
