Business Reporting

The Business Reporting suite consists of key business reports on all areas of functionality within Horizon. The reports are delivered using Business Objects, the world’s leading analytical/business information tool. The reports are structured so that graphical and textual presentation of the data delivers the information in an easy to understand layout. Within the report pack there are numerous KPI’s that are delivered as standard.

Within each report the user has the ability to create their own composite selection e.g. report by region, property type & manager. Many reports are built with the ability to ‘drill’ into the underlying information.

Reports can be scheduled to be delivered via email to your chosen distribution list. A key feature of these reports is that they can also report across numerous application software platforms. This allows complete consolidated reporting for the entire business.

Users are also able to write their own reports, using a simple drag and drop screen to generate reporting layouts which can be tailored using a familiar Excel like user interface.

Business Intelligence

The new Horizon Vision Module offers enhanced Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting and Dashboard publishing along with the capability of identifying relevant trends using historical KPI data.

Vision allows access to highly visual Interactive Dashboards that support snapshots, historical trending and modeling styles, all of which can be produced internally and shared externally.

Through an intuitive graphical interface, you are able to quickly and easily look at trends, compare against benchmarks, and discover hidden facts; model outcomes and support the analysis of progress towards organisational goals. Through state of the art technology, Vision offers support when making decisions that affect the bottom line.

Ease of use and flexibility are two of Vision’s main attributes; it allows a whole range of data from a number of data sources and different databases to be presented, accommodating business intelligence requirements throughout the organisation and delivering Business Intelligence instantly via a dashboard.

Vision is integrated within the Microsoft Office environment and includes the functionality to present from within PowerPoint.

Reports and analysis that currently take several days to complete, often requiring numerous spreadsheet models, with an increased risk of data duplication and mistakes, can now be provided interactively in a matter of moments. The time and efficiency saving potential is massive.

Traditional property management solutions do not have the capability to include snapshots of data, i.e. the ability to summarise, freeze and keep data at any point, be that last year, last quarter, last month, last week or yesterday. Vision removes the need to analyse your data using less effective methods or the expense involved in employing an external data warehousing solution.
