Role Based Portal
Your portfolio, the way you manage it and the people who work with it are unique. That’s why Horizon allows each user to define the kind of information they need for their role within the organisation. Each accesses the system with a home page relevant to their role within the company. So a property manager would have a different viewpoint than, for instance, an accountant, a facilities manager, a property director or external parties.
Users can tailor the content of their home page and can include information drawn both from within Horizon or any other system. For example, the user can view their favourite screens,
‘to do list’, real time KPI’s & Dashboard drawn from Horizon as well as elements such as the organisational email and calendar, and links to favourite websites or other software packages.
For the user, portals are a simple one click route to the data that they need. You don’t need to search through various screens and reports. For your clients or other external parties they offer tailored access to the information you want them to have, like key management reports, update screens, virtual tours and investment opportunities.
Alerter
The Alerter tells you about important upcoming dates or events, for example:
a renewal, an option to break, or potential budget overspend. These alerts can be delivered either to a user’s mailbox or their Horizon ‘to do list’. Should the user not be able to take action there and then, a system of reminders ensures that the alert will not be missed. Escalation procedures can be inbuilt within each event to ensure that no key date or event should ever avoid action.
