The Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC) continues to grow in popularity amongst the most prestigious industrial real estate professionals. The global expansion of the association outside of the United States began in early 2013. With assistance from sponsorship support, IAMC held its first international event in the fall of 2014 in Quebec City, QC.
Qube Global Software is a founding partner in support of the organizations growth strategy. IAMC prides itself in providing a less sales-focused environment and more of an educational platform for its membership. The formula is simple: IAMC retains a strong 1:1:1 ratio of active industrial real estate professionals to economic developers to service providers.
Sharon Miller Trackman, Director of Marketing for the Americas, is an active participant on both the Marketing and the Membership committees. Working closely with IAMC staff to increase the overall visibility of the association, Sharon focuses her efforts on producing video content for committee usage, improved networking initiatives at forums, and an overall sense of camaraderie amongst the membership. The upcoming Spring Forum will be held April 25-29, 2015 in Palm Desert, CA at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa. IAMC will host a record number of over 100 active members at this event.
“My time with IAMC has proved invaluable on so many levels” stated Sharon. “I’m so excited about the content for this upcoming forum. Where else but at an IAMC forum could I hear from such luminary speakers as former NFL superstar turned real estate tycoon Emmitt Smith, and Doug Lipp, the author of ‘Disney U’?”
Matthew Sheldrick, Vice President of Business Development, also lends his expertise and thought leadership on a regional level, supporting the International committee on its’ efforts for expansion into the UK, and beyond. The international committee has held a number of successful overseas events, with an upcoming conference scheduled for June 9 and 10 in Birmingham, England.
