Qube Global Software once again participated in IFMA’s World Workplace Expo on October 5 through 7 in San Diego, California. Team members Sharon Miller Trackman and Kevin Anderson provided expert advice to show attendees as it relates to agile workspace and ROI software solutions. Aside from exhibiting, both attended a number of educational sessions targeting key areas like workplace challenges to off-site maintenance requests. Deeper dive sessions focused on the future of the workplace, the internet of things, case studies on leadership best practices and how you can help FM can expand its reach to younger generations.
IFMA followed the ongoing theme of encouraging us to ‘share our FM story’ with one another. The opening general session highlighted personal stories from different generations explaining how they began careers to how they got to where there are. Other event highlights included the Solutions Arenas on the trade show floor and the Welcome Reception on the battleship The USS Midway.
At the closing of the expo, Sharon and Kevin were joined by fellow exhibitors in a collaborative effort to collect leftover donatable items. Prior to the event, Qube Global Software committed to donate their brand new 50 inch high definition color television to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego. With that, another 30 inch television was donated, along with 7 cases of snack mixes and 6 large tote bags filled with wrapped candies, treats and toys.
“After meeting the Clairemont Branch Director of Strategic Partnerships Tesha Young, she affirmed my own mission to ‘pay it forward’ when I can,” claimed Sharon. “The Boys & Girls Club works tirelessly to change lives every day…and we were honored to be a part of their efforts on October 6th.”
