Expanding upon the successes of IAMC twice-annual forums, the Industrial Asset Management Council has been offering events on a local level. These smaller meetings encourage regional participation that is both cost effective and intimate in its appeal. Qube Global Software has been a founding sponsor of IAMC’s plan to expand around the globe. Following that, the company has additionally stepped forward as a local event sponsor for 2015.
Currently IAMC has already held successful events in Philadelphia. This year, local chapters stepping up to host include: Cleveland, Chicago, San Francisco, Kansas City, Indianapolis, Detroit and Dallas.
Local events are a value-add to the relationship building experienced by members during the forums. In addition, educational programming will be provided as a way of recruiting new members to the organization. IAMC doesn’t just network, they connect. Sharon Miller Trackman has been an active participant with the association, attending her seventh forum just this past April in Palm Desert. “I’m really looking forward to the local program in Philadelphia. It takes place at Braskems’ Marcus Hook location, followed by a tour of the Sunoco Logistics facility.” Further to this, Sharon hopes to attend all of the local events in support of these cities efforts.
