Qube Global Software’s Horizon is the first enterprise property management software solution to be awarded ISO 27001:2013, the global international security certification.
With high profile data and security breaches having occurred recently in multiple industries, customers using the software to manage their property portfolios can be confident that they are benefitting from the highest possible levels of data security. This particularly applies to smaller businesses that often aren’t able to make an equivalent investment in security themselves.
The internationally recognised information security management standard is designed to help software providers protect their customers’ data, remove the risk of information being hacked, disclosed to unauthorised parties or corrupted and ensure it is available for use in a secure way. It covers all aspects of information business, including physical hosting facilities, office security systems, staff recruitment policies, back up technology and disaster recovery planning. It also includes a formal program of maintaining the certification, including independent continuous audit evaluation.
Horizon SaaS (Software as a Service) was independently assessed over a 15-month period before being awarded the certification.
John Cuppello, CEO of Qube Global Software, commented: “With the spotlight on data security like never before, this certification will reassure our customers that we offer the highest possible level of data security and that we have the most rigorously tested management frameworks, technologies and business processes in place to manage their data. Security is always a top priority for our clients, so we’re delighted to be the first in the industry to secure this endorsement.”
Horizon SaaS is utilised by thousands of users worldwide, including over 40% of the UK land and commercial property market, allowing them instant access to their real estate, facility and financial data management software.
