The major annual release of Qube PM will be available shortly and will include even more features, adding to the overall richness of the application. As always, and in direct contrast to our main competitors, the main release will be free to all our customers.
As a Qube PM user, our annual releases are designed to keep you up-to-date with regulation, legislation and industry body guidance – crucial to ensuring you improve efficiency and stay ahead of your competition. The key theme of the 2015 Qube PM release is improved communication between all stakeholders in the property management and accounting process.
While packed with a significant number of additions and improvements the major updates include:
New Task Hub – one view for everyone involved in the process.
Our new task hub enables you, your tenants and suppliers to view your diaries and manage your task workload from any standard web browser – mobile or office-based. As a result, you can extend the use and effectiveness of Qube PM beyond your business and ensure process consistency beyond these confines.
You can view, accept or reject tasks that have been assigned to you from Qube PM Workflow on your preferred device.
To take advantage of this new functionality, you simply log into the Task Hub to see your own ‘to do’ list (a categorised view of the tasks awaiting your attention) which can be filtered according to individual preferences. Tasks can be batched so that you can update their status en masse, offering obvious time-saving benefits, and you can upload supporting documents (e.g. invoices, e-mails and letter correspondence).
Tenant Portal – even more features
The Qube PM Tenant Portal is already very popular and provides critical assistance with both financial and FM transactions and significantly cuts query levels, while also increasing collection rates. The latest release incorporates further features – in particular, enhancement of the maintenance management processes for users. Even more features are being developed for the 2016 release, which will offer more community-focused functionality and new design layouts.
Further Qube PM improvements
While not included in the Qube PM 2015 release, there are some further major development projects that have come to fruition in the past year that have interested a number of our customers:
Interface with Qube SLM
Qube SLM, our dedicated residential sales and lettings software, is now fully integrated with Qube PM. We are now able to offer the two products as a single solution – although users don’t notice due to the seamless interface. Qube PM essentially takes care of all ongoing property, asset and maintenance management and financial reporting, while Qube SLM manages initial marketing and letting of each property.
Our first implementation of the interface was for Get Living London, an award-winning company that is responsible for the letting of properties on what was the Olympic Village at the 2012 Games in Stratford, East London. Organisations operating in the Private Rented Sector have subsequently expressed significant interest in the solution and we have already received a number of orders.
Make a difference
The improvements made to our Tenant Portal came about as a result of one of our Special Interest Groups, which we hold with our customers to discuss this specific part of our software. As one of our users, we actively encourage you to contribute to the development of our solutions and this is just one of many ways we facilitate this type of discussion.
