Qube Global Software attended and exhibited at the HefmA conference again this year, participating in their New Order, New World theme, which focused on the changes currently being seen by the healthcare sector in the UK. The event took place between the 9th and 11th May at the Rivera National Conference Centre in Torquay.
Qube Global Software is one of the main suppliers of facilities management software to the NHS with 70 trusts using their Planet FM solution. The latest release of Planet delivers a raft of benefits including advanced business intelligence capabilities through interactive dashboard reporting and new report writing functionality. These add to the great depth of functionality developed over the years that has helped Facilities Managers in the NHS manage planned and reactive maintenance effectively.
One of the major benefits offered by Planet is the ability to track costs, log assets and calculate depreciation costs. This advanced level of information handling and reporting can lead to cost savings and more efficient budget management. In addition the integration between mobile technology solutions and Planet, allowing remote workforces to be managed efficiently is a major factor in the success of the product in this sector.
The conference addressed topics such as, liberating the NHS, looking to the future landscape and how are Foundation Trusts rising to the challenges of the new commissioning landscape. In all of these topics consideration was made on how estates and facilities will contribute to future structures. The Health estate facilities management Association (HefmA) was formed in the early 1990’s as a branch based network of Estates and Facilities Professionals working in the NHS.
HefmA is made up of 8 regional branches across England and the membership is made up 380 Directors and Senior Managers of Estates and Facilities working in the National Health Service.
