ECS 2007 Roadshows | 25 June 2007

Our annual roadshow was as successful as ever with seminars taking place in Manchester, Newcastle, Dublin, Southampton and London. Attendance was high and the feedback was positive.

The seminars focused on features and benefits planned for future releases, hints and tips and hot topics. There was also a special focus on Service Charge Management in light of the recently published Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Service Charge Code of Practice. ECS staff were on hand to answer any questions and a light buffet lunch and refreshments were served.

These events also provide the opportunity to discuss what our customers want from the software in the future.

Jackie Richardson of Ilchester Estates remarked on how useful attending the event was for her:

“I felt that I learnt a lot from this event and it was well worth attending. I’m sure that a lot of the content had been available in Runtime but we are all guilty of not having the time to really read this properly. Having a speaker run through these topics and also expand on them at times was much more interesting. I found the Hot Topics very useful, especially the item about the New Tenancy Deposit Scheme which was very relevant to me and cleared up a few issues. That in itself was worth the visit. I felt that this particular Roadshow was one of the most useful ECS Days that I have attended as a lot of the topics were relevant to our business at this time. Thank you very much for organising this event and we look forward to the Customer Forum in September.”

Another element of this series of events was the opportunity for prospective customers to view the software. Again this proved to be very popular and each event was well attended by a range of UK and Global property managers, occupiers and investors. A short demonstration was held and attendees were given the opportunity to voice any queries relevant to their business requirements, ECS staff were on hand to discuss requirements in further detail.

This is the third roadshow in two years and it has proven to be very informative for customers and prospective customers alike.
