Qube Global Software has officially welcomed its 200th member of staff in what represents a significant milestone for the company.
The 200th employee, Andy Garven, was one of five new employees to join as part of our Next Generation Scheme.
The Scheme will provide talented young people with strong technical skills, ranging from school leavers to graduates, with the opportunity to experience roles in different and varied business functions on a rotational basis before ultimately settling in a full-time position. The scheme is a conscious effort on our part to invest in local talent based in and around our office locations.
Jacqui Adams, HR and Commercial Manager at Qube Global Software, comments:
“We are delighted to have hit the 200 staff mark in what is a really exciting development for the company. Growth in our employee numbers over the last few years has been indicative of our success in this period. But it’s also absolutely necessary for the company so that we can continue to provide excellent service to our customers as well as enabling us to plan for both our and their future success.
“Our Next Generation scheme is also a huge step forward for the company. We know there are some really talented young people out there who may not necessarily have the required financial support to attend university. We also know there are some excellent graduates who may be struggling to find work due to the challenging nature of the labour market. We wanted to give these people an opportunity to realise their potential.
“We feel that with the right mentoring, the employees we have recruited as part of our Next Generation Scheme can in time provide the fresh thinking and ideas to take our business forward.”
